Women's March on Washington, DC 2017

In 2017, family and friends from across the country came to Washington, DC for the march. I thought it would be powerful to have a symbol to unify us. I offered to weave bracelets for everyone and asked what the design would be. And quickly we decided on the rainbow. It is now 2026. We remain spread across the country but are unified through our online page "The Resistance." Once again, I thought of a symbol to unify us. I chose small rainbow baskets which can hold our hopes and dreams. The name for each basket is "Stronger Together."
